    with some version juggling of the Nvidia drivers everything except the HDMI out works great.

    Works fine except brighteness with fn and unmute with fn (can mute or control volume when unmuted)

    All good (xubuntu 14.04.2 would not boot - graphics error) - previously Ubuntu 14.04LTS - was slow..

    Good but so far can't install driver for HP Deskjet 1510 - hplip too old - needs 3.13.8 at least.  Can't install a newer version - working on it!

    Performance: pretty good (except video streaming: I guess it's due to the crappy videochip)

    Distros: no.1 Bodhi Linux 2.4 (my first Linux), no.2 LXLE (the best for the oldest toys), no.2 Mint 17.2 Cinnamon/Xfce (the easy way)

    lower the resolution of the video being streamed. Also if using Youtube visit https://www.youtube.com/html5 and be sure to 'request the html5' player.
