    well already tried that, but can't add a serial no column. 2ndly, as per local law of our country, the word "TAX-INVOICE" must be written at the top of the sale receipt/ invoice , how to add that ? Instead of unchecking in the store config, invoice is always printing with browser header and footer.

    Click submit twice on the receipt page once you have it setup correctly. You can sneak tax-invoice at the top by placing it above the business name, in other words type

    tax-invoice
    then underneath
    the business name

    it might be easier to do that in a text editor first then copy and paste into the box. there are probably a bunch of other ways to do that kind of stuff as well, you'll have to mess around with it a bit.

    No it isn't, you can change it to whatever you want, your stock level has to be more than 1 for one thing, 2 you can change the quantity on the fly when you enter your order, once you change your value you click edit, not before.

    Well, quantity problem got fixed by un-ticking the check box  "item has a serial no" in the item entry page.

    But I am really feeling helpless regarding "serial no" printing on the invoice. Can anybody please HELP ?

    That is because a serial number is unique you can't have more than one.

    Yes, i know it's beta ..... trying to learn the apps ... also managed to install and run OSPOS in win7 sucessfully.

    BTW, Get Simple support tab shows  lighttpd/1.4.33 - Error - Error "
