    Hi Guys im Brazillian.. im try install the newest verison LXLE 14.04 64bits..

    ( this error give to me in the end of installation.. )
    IM Download the .ISO image 3 times and burn 3 cd's to try install...
    im have the same error in virtualbox... using only .ISO img to try install

    im try install im Physical Machine and have the same problem... can you help me ??
    My Notebook Configuration... Intel core i5 2410m, 8 gigas de ram ddr3, hd 500 gigas, video intel hd graphics 3000

    use a usb not a dvd.

    Try this (worked for me on 14.04 64bits): boot live system, deactivate screensaver and overextent time for monitor standby and turning off etc. Done? Go back to the desktop screen and begin installation, remember to NOT mark options like mp3 decoder and receiving updates.

    give me the same error.. im desactive screensaver and disable monitor stand by....start the instalation...

    im not mark any options.. and gave to me the same error =(

    same here.
    tried what lord suggested but no luck either.
    windows 8.1 already installed
    using a usb pendrive created with rufus (downloaded lxle 14.04 x64 twice)
    installation hangs at the end. same message that black describes
    followed all the instructions in the youtube video for dual configuration.
    if i reboot, i can boot into lxle but it does nothing (progress bar advancing forever in the splash screen)
    any advice? thanks

    update: tried again, using now startup disk creator from lubuntu live cd
    it worked!

    But when i log on, the splash screen takes a lot of time, and I ended up pressing on I (Ignore)...
    Is something still wrong with my installation?

    its running off dvd so its going to be much slower than a full install to the hard drive.

    no, lxle is now installed on my hard drive (hdd)
    the progress bar appears, then after some time "keys: Press I ignore, s skip, m manual"
    If i press skip it goes blank and i have to reboot
    I always press I ignore.
    I bought this laptop less than a year ago, i7 processor

    do you think that partitions in xfs filesystem have anything to do with this (/ and /home)?

    It did the same thing on a Asus with XP (LXDE 64 current) : the installation failed at the end, if i reboot, i can boot into lxle but it does nothing (progress bar advancing forever in the splash screen).
    I've installed the previous and it works fine.
