Power management
  • First greeting an sorry caus my bad english.
I tried LXLE yestarday, and seems to me like a great distro: fast & beautifull.
But i have one problem and dont now how to find that in settings:
When i press Turn on/off button on my laptop he is automatically shut down, but i want to ask me what to do.
Second, i want to set that laptop go to sleep when i close lid.
That are all power manager settings but there are no such thing in LXLE.
    Thanks in advance.

Power management is done automatically by TLP http://linrunner.de/en/tlp/docs/tlp-linux-advanced-power-management.html
  • Ok, but can I somehow set Turn on/off buton to ask me what to do!?

    No
  • Hey lxle, I just started to just window Lxle on my acer aspire one. I realized the battery indicator is missing, and i found this thread. According to your direction, I went to Synaptic Package Manager, and found xbattbar, and I installed. But the battery indicator did not show up, nor I can find it anywhere on the screen. Please help.

What version of LXLE? If any relatively recent version the battery percentage is shown in conky. Also I believe the lxpanel has a plugin for it.
