LXLE 14.04 does not update kernel

    Hello all!

    Installed LXLE 14.04 today. Works fine, except...
    For some reason that I could not find out, LXLE 14.04 does not update the kernel although it should do so. (It says that everything is up to date.) Since I have installed Kubuntu 14.04 on the same computer too, I know for sure that there is a newer kernel than 3.13.0-27 - Kubuntu already runs with kernel 3.13.0-29.
    Any ideas?

    They used to uptick themselves regardless of whether you had the following package installed. Seems that now that is no longer the case. I will get an update applied tonight. In the meantime you can do the following in the terminal.

    sudo apt-get install linux-image-generic 

    that should take care of it.  Good catch, thanks for the heads up.
