Screensaver Preferences not working as it should

    I'm having screensaver issues as described above, and cannot find anywhere to change the settings for it.  Where are the settings now?  Also, most of the time I login, I get to my browser where it was before the screensaver went black, and start to work, and the system goes black, and I have to login a second time.  Dual login of password needed.  Any ideas?  Thanks

    On lockscreen I get white screen whereas previous editions/releases had screen off/blank.  Installed xscreensaver and still white screen.  What am I doing wrong?
