I have an old HP 6720s with an upgraded Windows 10 on it. The Laptop is I guess about 8 years old, it started with Vista pre-installed. It still works under W10, but with some Performance issues and temperatures of ~80°C - which is enough to cook some meal!
For this reason I installed LXLE, and it works very smooth and silent. All Buttons for WLAN, Sound, ... are working. Thanks for this great OS!
I have tried 32-bit and 64-bit versions on an Acer One Aspire One (32-bit) netbook and Dell D620 (64-bit) laptop. Both were easy to install and they have many great features with updates. They can be modified to work like Windows 7 and XP OS's and run well on both systems. I have tried other Linux OS's and I highly recommend this one over them all.
LXLE is THE quintessential GUI/Linux variant when it comes to lightweight and fast distors. And that it's filled with numerous features? Well, there is no reason to not like it. ~N. Gasieta
