MD5 on 32-bit doesn't match and cannot install...
  • Have been having a ruff time with live disks (and also USB) installation with the 12045 version and just checked the MD5 and it doesn't match the official.  Have re-downloaded and still no dice.  Is there a chance it has corrupted on the server?

    Thanks!!!!

P.S.  LXLE is 'HANDS-DOWN" my best install for older systems.  GREAT work folks!

What is the location of MD5 your using and location of 12.04.5 your downloading?
  • Hi!  They were both just the ones from the direct download (Sourceforge).  The official is 32 Bit = 23cde395dcb1d2531610b49df171d304

    I am getting:

    0a23e3cd2f9d95082e05064b752cbb90
  • Is there a preferred download location?  Have tried the torrent, but it kept coming up as broken.

Perhaps there is something wrong with the drive you are using, I just downloaded a fresh copy of the release of 12.04.5 from http://sourceforge.net/projects/lxle/files/Final/32/

Checked the md5sum and got the following.

  • Thanks - will try again.  Maybe something went wrong in transit.  Mint has this problem a lot.
