    Microsoft has now decided to stop selling of windows7 & 8 to OEMs  (selling of windows7 retail version, stopped earlier) and  perhaps will stop support for windows7&8 after 2015. Is this a good news for the linux developers ? Only the time will tell.

    More importantly, the HARDWARE developers need to realize it's no longer a Windows World.

    Case in point:  The miserable state of SSD support in Linux.

    What good is continually improving technology if operating systems cannot keep pace?
