Claiming slow and listing services does nothing for troubleshooting. Slow at what? Slow when doing? What programs are open? etc etc. Currently at startup lxle uses perhaps 10 more megs of ram than lubuntu so, services running have very little to do with 'its slow' that is of course if we are talking about a stock lxle and not an I installed a bunch of different stuff and now it's slow scenario.
  • FIne, you want details, here are details. I can type the entire sentence before anything appears on the screen. What programs are open? Firefox. ROXterm. What is slow is getting a response when more than 3 tabs are open. Sometimes I have to have more than 3 open tabs.

That would happen on any system with less than 1gb of ram and three tabs open with facebook being one of them, it has nothing to do with services and everything to do with hardware and lack of ram and site like facebook sucking up all the resources of the browser, which is necessary for them considering the tracking.
