I booted LXLE 14.04 on a flash drive and everything worked fine on live boot until I decided to make a clean install of the OS on my harddrive. The problem is that the installer crashes at some point in the installation, which results in a failure to install LXLE.
I am not sure what to do next, maybe I should fall back on 12.04.04 and see if that works for me.. I no longer have any workable OS on my laptop so I writte this using Firefox in live boot. At any rate, I hope this problem can be fixed eventually so I report it here.
I am using an Asus laptop AMD Radeon HD 6290 graphic card AMD C-60 1.00GhZ processor 4GB RAM DDR3 HDD 320 GB
Previous OS: Windows 8.1
Thanks.
PS: I may have posted this in the wrong section of the forum, I am sorry.
If using a usb format the usb to fat16, select no variables during install, in other words, don't check any option like updates, codecs (not needed), encrypted etcand try a plain install.
