edit the menu items Launch, Search, Run, Shutdown?

    As the title says how can I edit the lower items in the menu. I want to remove the text in parentheses after Launch and Run as well as change the icons for Launch and Shutdown and move Search to Accessories.

    I have looked at countless blogs and posts about editing LXDE menus and I can not find any information on how to edit the lower items. Can anyone shed some light on this?

    That wiki says PCManfm can be used for the job.  (default file manager)

    However, there are a couple of programs that seem to handle the complete chore:

    LXMenu Editor  http://lxmed.sourceforge.net/

    LXMed  http://sourceforge.net/projects/lxmed/

    ~/.config/lxpanel   in there you'll find the different paradigm panels, you must edit them by hand using gedit to change, run, search, launch, logout.
