I am a new user of LXLE having installed it on my windows XP laptop. Packard Bell Easynote , AMD Sempron CPU. HDD upgraded to 160GB (100 GB FREE) Ram upgraded to 2GB

LXLE runs v well except 2 things and I want to switch from XP

1) When I type at normal 2 finger speed into LXLE (Thunderbird email or the Office writer the letters are there on screen but totally jumbled up and also jumped into different fields. (At one letter per second.no probs !!!)

My keyboard is set at standard English and I have tried American etc but no change.

HELP & ADVISE PLEASE

2) I use Plantronics USB headphones as default in Windows but when I try LXLE the sound comes from the laptop speakers. I have tried all 6 usb ports for the headphones but no change. LXLE recognises the headphones are there but I cannot get it to switch to them
