resolution problems since updating kernel

    Hi, I updated the kernel via synaptic following the insructions posted, but after reboot my display is stuck at a very low resolution, and trying to change it via the preferences monitors ouput does nothing. I have the nvidia 304 additional driver installed. All was absolutely fine before this procedure. Any ideas?

    Change the resolution with your nvidia-settings applications in preferences (might be in system tools)  and or reinstall nvidia 304. Sorry for the inconvenience.
