64bit or 32bit

    I was running the old version 32bit ,but downloaded the 64bit new version, and installed. Machine is a Dell Dimemsion C521 with an Athlon 64 processor, so it is quite old and only has 1  ram.

    64bit version runs but has locke dup 2/3 times and some programs will not run at all. Would I be better off going back to the 32bit version.

    sounds like a half baked install, programs not running at all is the first flag, i would do a reburn, perhaps a redownload and do it all over again. Something isn't right there.

    have re-installed 32bit version. Seems faster and more stable.
