I am trying to remove the guayadeque music player so far without success.I have used the software center,synaptic,and apt and all now list it as uninstalled.However it still appears in the menu and works when i click on the icon.Where should I go to next?

This is my question. Synaptic does show it in the uninstalled category,apt-get remove-says it is not installed and yet it is in my app menu and works when I click on it.I replaced it with Deadbeef and am trying to remove it,yet it is still there.I have rebooted with same result.
