Burned latest b version and all i get in live mode after trying to install is a spinning wheel. Tried two reboots with same issue. Guess i'll go back to stable version.
Seeing that i don't like to leave things half way done... I downloaded stable version with same result. -tried with DVD-RW and DVD-R, neither could make it 'spin'. That is, i get into live mode, make partitions with GParted but when i click install, nothing happens (except for the cursor that goes into spin mode).
Loaded/installed the recent version of Zorin on a DVD-RW and no problems there.
What do you know! Bypassing Live test and going straight to direct installation did the trick!! :) In previous versions it was just the opposite... Marked post [Solved] even if partly true.
Oh, i've been using my laptop as testing machine for quite some time now. It's loaded with Windows 7 32bit and LXLE behaves really nice on it! The only Linux system that comes close to LXLE is Elementary. In fact, i would almost prefer it but if i can't autohide top or bottom panels, then i pass.
