USB mouse not working

    Hi i have just bought a Roccat lua mouse, thinking it would work better as there are linux drivers.
    The mouse does not work on the installed LxLe, but if i boot to the lxle live cd i installed from, the mouse works.
    Any reason for this would be helpful

    If you type lsusb into a terminal does the mouse appear on the list?

    Will it work if you unplug it and plug it in again or if you plug into a different USB socket?

    Are you using a laptop, desktop or notebook?

    Hi thanks Tony i managed to sort the problem with the help of zorin forums, i have both distros installed.
    The mistake i made was to install 2 packages, drivers and tools before the mouse had been recognised.
    i uninstalled both rebooted and the mouse works.
    The problem i have now is i re-installed the 2 packages the mouse still works but the tools do not recognise the mouse.
    Back to the drawing board, i have emailed the package writer for some help.
