Promote a thread or category with Ping.

We recently added a small 'Ping' link to the link menu.
If you find a category or thread that you would like to promote just click Ping.
Why would you want to promote it? Promoting through Ping puts it in front of more eyes.
More eyes, means more brains, and more brains is good, more brains gets it fixed and or resolved.
It also helps attract more users to LXLE and the LXLE forums, which is also good, for all of us. :)

The thread and or link is submitted to an rss distribution network that makes the post known to various feed outlets across the internet.

Ah. There seems to be a list of the rss feeders, at the bottom of the PING page that opens up. That is very cool.
