Icon Text shortened

    Hi dear community,

    I have just formatted my old installation 16.04.x and installed the latest LXLE Focal. Now I am experiencing one change in particular that I can not solve myself; have googled alot but so far nothing helps:

    Desktop icon text is being shortened.
    On the desktop I have created a few Icons, but now in the newest version, their name text is being shortened. Instead of "Private Files" all I see ist "Private f..."

    So my question is ow and where can I set the icon text width and shortening behaviour? Some semi-old Google results pinpointed me to things like
    ~/.gtkrc-2.0
    ~/.gtkrc-2.0.mine and even
    ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css

    But is that the correct place for LXLE focal (20.04.5)?
