Hyper-V Installation

    After installing to a hyper-v environment I'm greeted by a GNU Grub version 2.04 screen (and the OS never boots). In the hyper-v Firmware settings I see something odd labeled "shimx64.efi" as the first boot entry. Any ideas?

    It's trying to boot using UEFI. Trying turning UEFI either on or off in your bios.
