Help needed with connecting to WiFi using USB adapter

    Hello guys, I hope I am posting on the right section.

    So I have this Leoxsys LEO-NANO150N USB WiFi Adapter which I have connected to my old PC running LXLE 18.04.3.

    The issue is that I am unable to detect or connect to any WiFi networks at this moment. The network manager app is not even listing any WiFi signals at the moment.

    the "lsusb" command brings up this result
    Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0bda:f179 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.

    I tried some of the solutions from some old Ubuntu forums pages, but none of them seem to work in my case.

    I hope someone can help me with this issue.

    did you attempt restarting with it already plugged in?
