Can't get chromecast to work with chromium

    Works on debian with lxde and i'm pretty sure i had it working with lubuntu but i can't figure out why it doesn't work on lxle. I enabled the necessary chrome flags which is the usual workaround and i'm not sure what else to try. Thanks for any help.

    check the firewall.

    That was indeed the issue! I didn't even know a firewall was enabled, very nice. Thankyou for the help!
