Problems with LXLE 18.04.3 64 bit

    Have tried to install LXLE 18.04.3 64 bit, but when I try to update or upgrade I get hash errors, and cannot install Firefox or Thunderbird without errors. Installing the 32 bit version works fine on the same hardware. Any thoughts?

    Thanks very much for the reply. Really appreciate the time and attention. My apologies for not getting back to you sooner, but have just now been able to explore the various solutions proposed. While the majority of them did not solve the problem, the following did:

    sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/partial
    sudo apt-get update -o Acquire::CompressionTypes::Order::=gz

    The 64bit build is now working fine, and updates, upgrades, and installs are as they should be.
