Hello Friends,

Greetings.  For some years I have been refurbishing machines and giving them away to kids, schools, vets, etc..., but as Win 7 support has ended and I have a lot of these machines sitting around, I look to Linux as a replacement OS.  After evaluating many other Linux distros, LXLE seems purpose-built for reviving aging machines.  Currently I'm on a quest to install Windows themes and icons to present a familiar face to the users (and letting them know that these are Linux boxes), to smooth the transition.  Have come here to get tips on the 'how to' without breaking or slowing down the installed OS.
