Set up this computer for a dyslexic senior woman, newbie. Lxle works well with this type of learning disability. LXLE is so perfectly simple, and I can turn off all the blinking things that drove her nuts when she tried unsuccessfully to use windows. She could not learn Windows. Too many options. All I did was tweak some of the LXLE border panels, and told her to use ONLY the icons in the big panels I tweaked just for her, for now.
One other issue was the notebook would stall using Sea-Monkey. I had to remove Sea-Monkey, because it was too confusing for her to get out of a stall. The only way out of the stall was to turn the computer off and on again. (Sea-Monkey also a stall issue on another Sony notebook.) Replaced SM with Pale Moon.
