turning off the screen for screenlocking
  • so lxle has had it right probably right from the very beginning-turn the screen off when left clicking on lock screen after left clicking on logout, so many other distros go to a grey screen which is wasteful of resources/hardware. pop os also does it right, but with a gradual transition to screen off after left clicking lock screen. how can lxle emulate that gradual turning off of the screen insted of the abrupt

not sure.... you can also lock the screen with f5.. or taking the mouse to the top right corner of the screen..

a list of shortcuts is available by hitting f4
