To my dog Duncan... R.I.P.

    I will not be around for a few days as I'm extremely sad over the passing of one of my dogs named Duncan.

    He was the most loyal, toughest dog I ever owned or met.

    We rescued him from an animal shelter 9 years ago.

    He battled cancer like a champ but finally lost the war last night about 4:30am.

    Today we held a memorial on our property for him, he will be dearly missed.

    I'm finding it difficult to continue this post so I'll end it by saying...

    This post will never be deleted, will be revisited often and is in memory of our beloved dog Duncan.

    We love you... May you be pain free and happy where ever in the universe your conscience may lie.

    You will never be forgotten. We will miss you always...

    Words don't do much in times of loss and nothing really helps much, but I'm very sorry for your loss.
    Be strong and don't be afraid to cry. Crying washes the pain away, at least for a moment.
