Laptop Mode Tools on LXLE, is it useful/recommended?

    Recently I came across a tool that probably is very useful which is Laptop Mode Tools. It's a lot of tweaks that I'd like to know if they could be useful on LXLE OS or not. I do not have enough knowledge to be able to judge by myself so I ask for your expert opinions.

    Thank you so much once again for your help.

    Off topic and an emergency, I booted my pc from an USB pen with LXLE 16.04.2 to install it on my PC and make it my OS. I am now using Gparted to create a new position, went to grab a snack and a smoke and, as I am back on the pc, locker made it's thing and I am now not able to access the pc! Tried hitting enter, qwerty as password and some more stuff but no luck. What is the password?

    Never mind, tried enter again and now it worked!
