Upgrading from 14.04 to 16.04

    Hi people,

    I've a couple of Lxle on 14.04 and would like to upgrade to the new release. Can I update the source.lists and upgrade via apt dist-upgrade or should I do a fresh install? My home folder is on a separate partition and I would like not to have to reconfigure syncthing etc but not include a load of redundant or un-upgraded configs/settings. Does anyone have any tips/suggestions?

    back up your syncthing preferences and do a fresh install, best way. And I mean a fresh install, home directory and all.

    awww, really?  What are some problems you are seeing with the upgrade route?  Is the command still

    sudo do-release-upgrade
