Live USB Password

    I'm running a Live USB of ver 14.04.02.  In the process of installing OpenVPN, I need to install two files to /etc/openvpn.  I'm unable to assign myself su privileges as LXLE is asking for a password.  I've tried all the obvious possibilities.  Can anyone provide me the password?

    Have you tried logging in with out typing a password. I don't think you need a password
