Amazing game, just love it.  Save your game to the cloud, so no worries if you reinstall your system from time to time or use more than one machine

I've been distro hopping recently - and I like to see how my favourite game gets on

Debian based distros - steam installs fine, then FM just won't start
    LXLE - game runs great
Kubuntu - wow, plasma 5 looks amazing and I was hooked for a while.  Then I realised that FM was a bit laggy and has graphical glitches
Ubuntu mate - works great on the family pc (quite powerful machine) but not quite so well on my laptop as it does with lxle.

This was my way of learning that keeping as much processing power for what you are doing makes sense, and using more power than you need for the OS does not.

I guess that's why I settled on lxle, as the distro has no limits - you can do everything linux can do....but with more processing power than any other distro that also has no limits.  To my mind, that makes it the best distro for everyday work and play when you just want to get things done
