Problems with Thunderbird

    Just installed LXLE 14.04.3.  Uninstalled Seamonkey -- hate it -- replaced it with Thunderbird and Chromium.

    Everything seems to be working okay, except for Thunderbird.  Each time I try to start it, it tells me Tbird is already running and I need to terminate the process or reboot.  Task manager does not show Tbird running.  I reboot, I try to start Tbird again, same message.

    What's going on here?  Can anyone help?  Thanks.

    Try removing the .mozilla directory located in your home.
